Service FAQs
Check for Blocked Panels:
Look at your solar panels from the ground. Are they dirty or blocked by debris like leaves? If you can safely do so, gently spray them with a hose from the ground to loosen any debris that may be impacting production.
Check Your Tesla Gateway:
Find your Tesla Gateway (often near your electrical panel).
Check the lights:
Green: Everything is fine.
Yellow: Something might need attention.
Red: There’s a problem.
If the light is yellow or red, restart the Gateway:
Turn off the Gateway using the switch on the bottom.
Wait 5 minutes, then turn it back on.
Check Your Breakers:
Go to your electrical panel. Look for any switches that are off or in the middle. Flip them “off,” then back “on.” If you’re not sure, leave them alone and give us a call.
Check the Tesla App:
Open the Tesla app on your phone. Look at your solar production. Compare it with what you usually see on a sunny day.
If production seems like it’s much lower, this might indicate a problem.
Listen for Strange Noises:
Stand near the Tesla Gateway or inverter and listen. Do you hear any unusual buzzing or clicking? If so, note it.

What Our Customers Say About Service
“We all want to deal with companies that stand by their word. In our experience, SunFarm is one of those companies. Two and a half years ago, SunFarm installed Tesla solar panels and batteries to our house. We couldn’t be happier with the product or service, with the emphasis on service. The inverter, still under warranty, went out two months ago. As quickly as they could, SunFarm replaced the inverter with no expense to us.”
– Bill S in Panama City Beach
The service team was very professional and walked me through the process of the install. They were promptly on time and worked quickly to get me back online with my panels. I look forward to doing business with them again in the future!
– John C. in Gulf Breeze
We had a great experience from sales to installation and after. Maybe a year after installation they replaced a panel not performing correctly without me requesting it. Great value!
