Founded in 2006, Solar Insure is a leader in the renewable energy space with features in countless industry publications as a trustworthy warranty solution for rooftop, ground mount, battery, and commercial solar power systems. As a fintech company, Solar Insure provides limited warranties backed by global insurance providers. All SunFarm Energy installations include Solar Insure coverage. If an issue arises and you need to file a claim, the SunFarm Energy team works directly with you to solve the issue. Then, our team files a claim on your behalf.

What Does Solar Insure Include?
We offer three options for your solar power solution.
30-Year Solar Warranty
Included in every SunFarm Energy solar installation, this plan covers panels, inverters, optimizers, racking, and labor. Coverage also includes Resealing and Reflashing of issues within 3” of the roof penetration point.
30-Year Battery Warranty
Adding battery storage to an existing system or purchasing battery with your initial install? The SI-30 Battery plan is specific to new or retrofit battery systems and integrated inverter-battery setups.
30 Year Solar & Battery Warranty
This additional coverage option works alongside the SI-30 Solar plan. Coverage includes battery diagnostics, repair, and labor, plus the cost of one replacement below 50% capacity between years 11 and 30.

Manufacturer Default Protection – Manufacturer warranty default is backed by insurance coverage provided by an A.M. Best A+ Rated insurance carrier.
Installation Company Bankruptcy Protection – All coverages plans offer protection even if the original installation company closes its doors.
Transferable Warranty – Each warranty is assigned to the address where the system is located. Transfers to new homeowners come at no additional cost.
Zero Hidden Fees – Coverage includes a $0 deductible, $0 subscription, and $0 onboarding fee.
Superior Customer Service – Our teams work together to provide excellent customer service before, during, and after a claim. Our dedicated teams are always standing by to assist.
What is Excluded From Solar Insure Coverage?
- Property damage or acts of God such as property damage, fire, theft, rodents, and/or hail.
- Wi-Fi connection kits, cellular connection kits, or other add-on functionality dongles used for communication connectivity.
- Damage to the home during installation.
- Damage to your property or home during installation is typically covered under the contractor general liability policy.
- Removal of panels during a roof repair/replacement.
- Issues with electrical wiring, electrical panels, and/or general electrical workmanship and engineering.

Certified Providers are extensively vetted by the Solar Insure team through a specific process that looks closely at company installations, methods, experience, reputation, and production rates.
